Coaches, what is something that you struggle with when it comes to skill development for your team?

Where am I?

Keeping stuff "fresh". When it comes to team skill development I find we teach and drill a lot of the same concepts daily(which is necessary) and some days the athletes kind of get that going through the motion body language. The basics and fundamentals are key and have led to our team's success but still looking for that "fresh" or new feeling is a struggle some days(not all the time).

Convincing players that skill development is just as important (or even more so) than playing 5 on 5 full court games.

I work with U12 athletes, (9, 10 and 11 year olds) - footwork on both ends of the floor is a tough one.
